The Belvoir First Aid summer raffle ran until October 14th. The winners were:
First Prize – Villa Holiday in Crete - Cor de Graff, Long Clawson Second Prize – LCD TV - J Carew, Mickleover, Derby Third Prize - Nintendo DS - Colin and Helen Ramsey, Stathern Forth prizes – First aid training -
1. The raffle is being held to raise monies for Belvoir First Aid, a registered charity number 1122209, to support their activities in the Vale of Belvoir and surrounding areas.
2. The raffle is registered under the Gaming Act 2005 with Melton Borough Council permit number 604.
3. Prizes have been donated or acquired for the purpose of this raffle and Belvoir First Aid is not responsible for the quality and performance of these prizes.
4. The prizes on offer are as follows:
a. First prize (estimated value £800) – a week use of a self catering holiday villa for up to 6 people (4 adults maximum and two children, or 2 adults and up to 4 children) in Crete to exclude flights, airport transfers, catering, insurances, car hire and any other costs and fees. The use of the Villa will be subject to a returnable deposit of £50 per person as a guarantee against damage and breakage. The villa will be available in the 'low' or 'out of season' times between October 2008 and March 2009 and specifically exclude Christmas and New Year. Guidance will be made regarding the best options for flights and car hire through the villa website on www.villasofcrete.co.uk The Villa comprises of three double bedrooms, an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with fireplace, two shower rooms, and a 24 sq m swimming pool. Users are requested to obtain their own health and travel insurances prior to visiting Crete. Belvoir First Aid will not be held responsible for any aspects of the Villa and no cash alternative or negotiation will take place on this offer. See winners voucher for detailed conditions.
b. Second prize – a family size LCD flat screen television. This prize will be given in the form of a voucher to be used at a suitable electrical store for redemption against the TV. No cash alternative or negotiation will take place on this offer.
c. Third prize – Nintendo DS computer console with a software programme of ‘Brain Trainer’. This is provided new and as supplied and is not subject to any guarantees. No cash alternative or negotiation will take place on this offer.
d. Forth prize (worth £80 each) – 10 vouchers for one day’s Emergency First Aid training at any of the training courses run by Belvoir First Aid during 2008 and 2009.
5. No cash alternative or negotiation will take place on any prize on offer.
6. Prizes will be notified to the winners subject to their contact details being available on the ticket stubb. Winners will be posted on the Belvoir First Aid web site and will remain for one month. Any unclaimed prizes by 17.00 of 14th November 2008 will be redrawn.
