Belvoir HeartBeat

Belvoir HeartBeat - Community Public Access defibrillator scheme.

www.communityheartbeat.org.uk

Belvoir First Aid are proud to be supporting the Belvoir HeartBeat scheme to place public access defibrillators into local villages. The Belvoir HeartBeat scheme is the local placement of the national scheme being run mby the Community HeartBeat Trust, a national charity. These schemes save lives and the lastest scientific research suggests they are the most effective way of saving a life post Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

4x4 ambulance support

We are always looking to raise funds to support our First Aid ambulance, and we would welcome any donation, small or large, to help. It costs us about £5000 per year to run this vehicle, and a further £5000 a year to run the Charity. Note - this is not an emergency ambulance and is only used for events cover.

Also...

THANK YOU to everyone who helped raise money for our ongoing local support. If you would like to sponsor the running of the 4x4 ambulance above, please contact us. We are able to offer recognition and advertising to support any donor.

Thank you to Samworth Brothers of Melton and also Melton Mowbray Building Society for their kind sponsorship for 2008! Also the various Parich Councils that have assited us in 2008. We are grateful to all those that have contributed to date to our annual fund raise in 2009.

In 2010 we intend to increase our provision of first aid training in the Vale villages, and also to look at the provision of first aid kits and defibrilators in village halls. We need to fund these projects. Please help if you can by sending a cheque payable to 'Blevoir First Aid' for any amount you feel you can give.
